An obscure body in the SK system
I have a frozen Left ABS caliper, (one hose, one bleeder)
Out of stock EVERYWHERE

Unlike the complex non ABS calipers, the body appears symmetrical to the contralateral side other than bleeder position.
I plan to drill a hole for a bleeder repair kit in the "blank" position.

Any problems with this plan?

going to lightly pressurize it with air (pistons blocked) during drill and tap (greased) to prevent metal chips ingress and lots of brakekleen

JUST found this, interesting site:
http://www.bluehandsinc.com/caliper-options.html

converting a Non-ABS to ABS style caliper.

as for my proposed method, I plan on using thi:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002ESAIVM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I'll have to use another wrench when bleeding but I can deal

the brake kleen is for clean up of grease, am I missing something?
I wasn;t planning on messing with pressurized MEK, lol

Any oil / oil based fluid will attack the rubber seals and is a big :nono: when dealing with brakes.
