Group Beige Turbo LS Swap

Love this car!

You're running a T5 correct? Did you have to adapt it to the GM motor? To make the motor mounts did you hang the engine and transmission together in the car then design the mounts around that engine placement?

Ford t5 yes, I have a steel quick time bellhousing, I eventually plan on a tko 500 or 600. That's pretty much how I made my mounts I love the design and how easy engine removal is, along with very little engine movement with very little vibration #winning.

Any upgrades on the car this winter Brian??:D

zero, I moved into my first house... my garage isn't really setup to work on stuff yet... :/ but to me the car is basically done. I'd like to add a better cam and such.

Very clean build. After building my WS6 American Iron car, I've fallen hard for the LS motors. If you do decide to get a cam, I HIGHLY recommend getting a custom built one. About the same price and you get to talk to the grinder about what you want out of it. Search around LS1tech. I know Pat G is a big name for cams. There are however, a TON of shops doing cutom grinds now.

Finally finished reverse mounting the bbs lm's they were machined to fit properly and self center as they normally would front mounted.

Well, I got around to mounting the reverse mounted BBS lm's I'm very happy with the results. Now they are direct bolt on in back. I could use allot less spacer upfront.

very cool build - I love your crossmember mount - is that something that is available again? Or just a one-off piece? I have my LS engine in my garage waiting for my 245.

Not sure what you mean by crossmember mount, did you mean engine mounts? I designed them on Autocad and had them cut out. Thanks for the comments, I've been slacking on keeping this updated, keeping it updated hasn't been much of a priority over driving the car. I did order some l92 heads. So the car should be mid 400whp soonish.

Ls3 heads are installed along with titanium valve retainers, dual springs, a new fast 102 intake, texas speed pushrods and cam. Should have another 100whp come spring when I can get it tuned. It's parked for winter now.

Alright it's been along time since I last updated this... I had allot of fun with the car last summer and its been dead nuts reliable. I added some power this winter as posted above (ls3 heads and a cam) which should bring me to 450whp ish. I recently bought a brand new tko 600 transmission which is good for 600 ft/lbs of torque.

<a href="http://s265.photobucket.com/user/2fast242gt/media/20160228_185309_1.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii234/2fast242gt/20160228_185309_1.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 20160228_185309_1.jpg"/></a>

I also started wiring in a new harness with braided loom, im thinking about mountig my fuse and relay box behind the cluster panel as i have the panel removable with one screw.

heres the new harness ready to go in.
<a href="http://s265.photobucket.com/user/2fast242gt/media/20160228_185257.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii234/2fast242gt/20160228_185257.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 20160228_185257.jpg"/></a>

new wideband placement, i wanted to keep it away from the other gauges as it doesnt match perfectly and this will keep it from sticking out like a sore thumb.

<a href="http://s265.photobucket.com/user/2fast242gt/media/20160228_184919.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii234/2fast242gt/20160228_184919.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 20160228_184919.jpg"/></a>

current state of the engine bay, the fire wall plate is currently out so I can weld up the holes and drill a new 2.25 hole for the new harness. the single red wire is power to the starter which goes to a power distribution block inside the car.
