Default 93 940 N/A Fan Shroud isnt working

As stated in the title the fan wont come on. what would cause it and what would i need to fix it?

Put power directly to the fan motor and see if it runs. If it does, connect either of the two trigger terminals on the relay directly to ground and see if the fan comes on. If it doesn't turn on, the relay is bad. If it does come on, you have either a wiring problem, a bad ECT sensor or a bad fan driver in your ECU.

how would i put power directly to the fan motor?

also is there a TCU on these cars or just a straight up ecu?

Unplug the 2 heavy wire connector from the relay and then take a wire from battery + to either terminal

By far the easiest way is to take the cover off the relay and to close the circuit with the switches. That way you can also fault trace the relay.
