Okay, to start, I've have a 1990 manual 240. After one day of getting sideways in the rain, it would start to stutter when getting up to speed but be fine when doing 60 in 5th. Eventually I changed the spark plugs and all was fine. Then of course I got sideways in the snow and it would sometimes stutter again but I didn't think it would be the plugs since they're new so I changed to wires, cap, and rotor to no avail.
Then after this, and I believe before changing them actually, it would stall at some intersections even with clutch in or while giving it gas but it would start right back up and I'd be on my way. But then on my last drive, after turning onto a road, it wouldn't go past 2.3kish rpm no matter what gear and then eventually totally died. It would crank and somewhat start but would die immediately.
Tonight after cranking it for awhile, it will catch and sometimes start, but again, die out.
I jumped fuse #4 and #6 and hear the fuel pumps and it won't start while they're on.
The only things I can think of is the relay (even though it shouldn't be it?), crank sensor (can I test this?) And the flame trap (when it was running, there was no vacuum when oil cap was off).
Any ideas?
