o.k. so i spent about an hour doing this over the weekend. its very easy and straight forward.
you'll need the following:
960 throttle body
b234 16v throttle body
dremel with pen tool
cut off wheels for dremel tool
torx bit set
first you'll need to disasemble both throttle bodies. remove the tps sensor. now remove the screws from the throttle plate. slide the throttle plate out and remove the pivot rod. now unbolt the tps braket. when the 16v one doesnt' want to come apart you bust the torches out!
a shot of the 2 pivot rods
slide your 960 throttle plate into your 16v pivot rod and mark so you know how much to elongate the slot. i put my pivot rod in a vise with electrical tape in the the vise to keep it from being marked by the vise. this held it nice and firm to run the dremel throguh it.
once its in the vise take your dremel and start cutting.
now that your pivot rod will work with the 960 throttle plate, you can start assembling it. slide the modified pivot rod into the 960 throttle body and insert the throttle plate and bolts. you might have to wiggle things around and rotate the pivot rod a few times to get everything lined up properly. tighten the throttle plate bolts. install your 16v tps bracket onto your 960 throttle body. adjsut the throttle stop sice you jsut changed thigns up. and install your tps sensor.
this is my finished product ready for tps install
