122 sedan rear door removal

need to remove rear door(s) on my 122 sedan for painting and general rebuild. The rear doors are always a pain to take off.... (on my parts cars I just cut them off with the B pillar)

any recommendations/tips

Sort of soaking them for a week or two and taking some heat to them, you're bound to fight them. The welding trick isn't pretty but it'll get it done. Soaking is less intrusive but it only worked on 1 of the 2 doors of my California 4 door.

on the front doors (maybe 16 by now) 70% of the time I have to use a welder.
