Ford t5 yes, I have a steel quick time bellhousing, I eventually plan on a tko 500 or 600. That's pretty much how I made my mounts I love the design and how easy engine removal is, along with very little engine movement with very little vibration #winning.

zero, I moved into my first house... my garage isn't really setup to work on stuff yet... :/ but to me the car is basically done. I'd like to add a better cam and such.

Very clean build. After building my WS6 American Iron car, I've fallen hard for the LS motors. If you do decide to get a cam, I HIGHLY recommend getting a custom built one. About the same price and you get to talk to the grinder about what you want out of it. Search around LS1tech. I know Pat G is a big name for cams. There are however, a TON of shops doing cutom grinds now.

Finally finished reverse mounting the bbs lm's they were machined to fit properly and self center as they normally would front mounted.

Well, I got around to mounting the reverse mounted BBS lm's I'm very happy with the results. Now they are direct bolt on in back. I could use allot less spacer upfront.

very cool build - I love your crossmember mount - is that something that is available again? Or just a one-off piece? I have my LS engine in my garage waiting for my 245.

Not sure what you mean by crossmember mount, did you mean engine mounts? I designed them on Autocad and had them cut out. Thanks for the comments, I've been slacking on keeping this updated, keeping it updated hasn't been much of a priority over driving the car. I did order some l92 heads. So the car should be mid 400whp soonish.

Ls3 heads are installed along with titanium valve retainers, dual springs, a new fast 102 intake, texas speed pushrods and cam. Should have another 100whp come spring when I can get it tuned. It's parked for winter now.

Alright it's been along time since I last updated this... I had allot of fun with the car last summer and its been dead nuts reliable. I added some power this winter as posted above (ls3 heads and a cam) which should bring me to 450whp ish. I recently bought a brand new tko 600 transmission which is good for 600 ft/lbs of torque.

 photo 20160228_185309_1.jpg

I also started wiring in a new harness with braided loom, im thinking about mountig my fuse and relay box behind the cluster panel as i have the panel removable with one screw.

 photo 20160228_184741.jpg
 photo 20160228_184826.jpg

heres the new harness ready to go in.
 photo 20160228_185257.jpg

new wideband placement, i wanted to keep it away from the other gauges as it doesnt match perfectly and this will keep it from sticking out like a sore thumb.

 photo 20160228_184919.jpg

current state of the engine bay, the fire wall plate is currently out so I can weld up the holes and drill a new 2.25 hole for the new harness. the single red wire is power to the starter which goes to a power distribution block inside the car.
 photo 20160228_185000.jpg

the dash as it sits, the cover is no longer on haha.

Is the TKO600 the same bolt pattern as the T5?

No - the pattern is different, but the bell housing he's using is drilled for the T5, the TKO 500/600 and the Ford toploader. So with a change from the 10 spline clutch disc to a 26 spline -- he's good to go.

I have been thoroughly enjoying the car since the heads and cam swap. I had a friend stop over recently and helped me dial it in, the car is an insane blast to drive now! i've been mostly just driving it as of late but today I did install a Nick Williams 102 throttle body. That helped tremendously with the idle over the ebay unit I had. Ill try and bring my gopro with and take it for a rip soon so you guys can see.

Id love to dyno it1 hopefully soon. Well I have been beating the car like it owes me money and I have been enjoying every minute of it. Lots of races, burnouts and just hooning has been done. I recently created a map with a friend for e85 and have it dialed in very well. Im running 32* timing with zero KR and it gained a good amount of scoot, enough so that I finally popped the remanufactured world class t5 which I have been expecting to blow up. I lost everything but 4th gear shortly after this video.

some of what led up to the trans failure, this is literally a daily thing plus racing.

when the trans failed I was on the way to a friends house to get my slicks mounted... unfortunately the trans failed before I got them mounted... and I really wanted to try them out. this car plus traction will be a blast!

 photo 20160717_190824.jpg

*edit*
I also hardwired my tails and added a 3rd brake light with a motor cycle strobe after almost being rear ended several times. I added the fogs as brake lights also since they had nice chrome reflectors. I had orangeish bulbs in for the video until my sylvania zevo led bulbs showed up hence the weird color.

well, I got the tko600 in and working flawlessly. A friend of mine who is a great machinist made me a new external slave bracket and it works awesome I just simply welded the two pieces together with the welder at his work ( very old machine ). The tko shifts very nice and tight, yet its easy to get in each gear. Im very happy I went this route transmission wise.
