2012 VCOA Meet is in St. Louis (June 1-3)

Mid 90's this weekend. *sweat* Hopefully the forecast holds and it's nicer next weekend.

Seems like the wife and kid are going camping/working in the woods that weekend, I'm trying to figure out how to get two cars down to FP. So far I've come up with stashing one at the Laclede Metrolink parking garage Friday with them, then driving the other to FP, hiking over to the DeBalivere metrolink station, out to Laclede, drive the other one in.

I know I know... Car isnt running right and stuff has come up that if Im not in town when all hell breaks loose it could be worse.

Bummer, I won't have another '93 16VT 245 to park next to. :(

SquareD's car looks that good in person too. Very sharp. (There's a 744 pun regarding cutting paper on the body creases in there somewhere...)

My 245 still sitting with the turbo unbolted. Waiting for a copper gasket. I guess worst case I could just bolt the turbo straight to the manifold and drive it.

Regardless of me there or not, the car wouldnt be there due to a non running car. Cant get passed the hiccups nor do I want another version of what happened when I went to SE last year.

Gah, that car looks so good. My 940 is nowhere NEAR that clean, especially since it just got hit on the driver's front fender. Should buff out.

Maybe if you paid more attention to detail on your car that person would of seen your car.

It really is a ~6-8 footer. It's shines up good, but the paint isn't the best and it's got plenty of dings. I can give you a full rundown of all the crap that's wrong with it, if it makes you feel better. Actually, my DD 940 is about as nice as it looks in pictures, but it's super plain jane. It's all good, we're just a bunch of folks getting together to share our affinity of (older) volvos.

So what's the plan for friday night? Do we want to set a time to meet at the carwash in Columbia? Are people interested in having a TB carwash/social?

I'd be interested. I'll probably be getting on the road from work. Getting excited. My new tires are scheduled to arrive tomorrow, then I just need to get them mounted on my freshly PCed Borbets. Clean up a few other odds and ends and she should be ready.
