Done anything cool or different with your sunvisors? Swap?

I work a weird schedule and at least 2 days a week I am driving straight into the rising or setting sun. The visors in my 8 244 are just OK. I would like to have more coverage, but also more side coverage when I turn side-on to the sun.

Have you seen or done any kind of mod or maybe swap to a better system? I'd like to see any ideas....

Honestly the car that I thought had the best sunvisors ever was the 1st gen Ford Explorer. It had the main visor that coul be swung to the side, but also a second straight visor under the main one, so you could have the main on your side and the second visor down in front! I'd love to have that setup in the 240.

Never tried one.

Seriously though, interested to see what anyone else has done too.

I know that I have to have tint on all my cars and that helps alot. I also had a strip on the windshield of my 85 wagon but I sold that car.

This is an option, but wouldn't be my first choice. If you search sun visors for airplanes you get lots of options like this, but they are all stupidly expensive for a piece of tinted acrylic. I could make that myself in about 8 minutes.

In the mornings the sun shines between the rear view mirror and the ceiling so I lean on the door, in the afternoons the sun shines between the sun visor and the A pillar so I gangster lean on my center armrest. I think I was in a recent Mazda 3 where the sun visors have extra plastic slide outs on both sides to extend the visor, would kill for some of those
