Dude that's so awesome! Loved the bit you wrote about it...such a nice story about how you acquired her. I would KILL for a turbo right now, haha. I'm just saving up for one right now. My 244 is my first car. I got her for $1100 off of Craigslist in fall 2010. She came to me in good shape, luckily. About 310k miles, new tires, ipod-compatible sound system. I put in four Alpine speakers though which is pretty sick. She's an automatic and is eager to please but needs some extra boost for sure. I switched the 80amp alternator for a newer (90's 240 standard) 100 amp alternator which made a huge difference in power. I bought a set of Virgo wheels off of a friend also. I have a real list of things I want to upgrade, but it's just a matter of saving the money. No cool mods yet. I just now taught myself how to safely degrease and polish my engine compartment so I'm pretty proud of my shiny-ass engine bay.
