3m general trim adhesive and 3m weatherstrip in the tube is what I use.

Another MB question. Again. I have a newish heat shield hood liner thing. What would be a good product to glue it down with. I tried silicone but it didn't set fast enough and sagged. Any ideas?

You seem to know alot about 300Es, so I hope you don't mind if I pick your brain. I decided to go with a turbo setup on the m103, but that will be a little ways off. In the meantime, I am looking at cam, intake, exhaust ecu upgrade and suspension. Basically a stage 2 car.
I don't want to dive into new forum asking noob questions, so I figured I'd ask a fellow TB member. You already know how unique we are.
Anyway, so where can I look for all this fun stuff, with the intent of turbocharging in the near future? I am hoping to get close to 300HP.

PS I got everything else working and the window replaced. One of the window fuses keep shorting out , so I'm guessing worn out wires in the door wire tunnel thing. The power steering makes horrendous noises So I am guessing I'll have to replace the pump very soon

More Mercedes questions. Would an 87 300E driver side rear window fit in an 86 300E and do you have any of those door parts for sale by chance?

I have some more Mercedes questions if you don't mind. The drivers side rear door is missing the glass. The door panel is there, but all the switches, armrest, handles, etc. are missing. Are all these parts interchangable from a 190E. My car is a 1986 300E and the donor is a 1989 190E I can get the whole door, intact, for $200.00.

I hear you are the go to guy for Mercedes 300E. School me if you could.
