The 242 is sitting waiting for a transmission. I hate spending more than the car cost for a part. I also have a 244 that I drive, but its all stock and really slow. I need to get a job so I can start searchin PnP for a new trans- manual or auto.

well, alex's dad told me to go grab anything of worth off of their 240Ti parts car.....so i grabbed the engine and i just finished reading a thread about the possibility of running a 16v head on a b21ft. so i think thats the plan a 16vT build for my 244 is there any chance your brother might be interested in selling me that 16v head??? maybe???

ive got some sweet developments going on over here on the 244 front

just a bunch of crappy connections/corrosion. on the coil, the dizzy and the ign. box.
it was luck of the draw that i fixed it
but the sedan is gonna get TOTALLY overhauled. im gonna strip it down naked, rip out the engine and transmission clean and repaint everything. remove all the undercoating, do the colored (red) bedliner underneath and all sorts of sound deadening inside. then tubo the motor and swap in LH2.4, a bigger cam, port and polish the head, exhaust, intake. then work out something for the exhaust turbo back. its gonna be mad tyte by the time i finish

wagon is back in service and as soon as i land a job the 244 is going under the knife for a long drawn out rebuild i have an entire semester plus the summer to finish this ish, im READY!!! AAHHGGHHH

Seriously. Alex deleted his because it didn't work, and he's more performance oriented. I'm only going to delete the ac in my sedan because it's broken and that'll be my performance car. My wagon on the other hand, I'm going to get the ac recharged so I can cruise in comfort
