I have a 8 blade external wastegated T4 exhaust housing HX40. I want to rebuild it with the 6 blade compressor wheel, with the upgraded thrust washer, and balanced. You know who can accomplish this?
My 1994 940 Mitsubishi turbo (116,000miles) has developed a bearing like rattle on the down side of the boost cycle.. Changed the converter and had my mechanic check out the hoses.. The next step will probably be to rebuild or replace the turbo. From what I gathered from the posts, your the best source for rebuilding or replacement.

    My new email address is;

    Hi tryingbe,
I have an 05 S40 T5 AWD I beleive the barrings in my trubo are shot. Do you have the turbo for this car? If so i would be interested in the price.
I have a 13c that needs rebuilt, how much to rebuild, or can I purchase one from you and send you a core?
    hello
i need a new turbo for my wagon. my 13c just went out and i was looking at the ones you have for sale. are the 15g and 16t the only turbos you have for sale or are there any other ones that are drop in replacements on a 90+ manifold?
thanks for your info about the turbo rebuild/water leak issue. I am considering my options with this car since the water leak is still not completely corrected. Slowed down , after a head-shaving/gasket replacement, new radiator, new expan. tank/hoses, heater valve, etc. but still losing it slowly.. How much is the shipping for a turbo if I decide to replace that while I am at it? Do you use the "if it fits, it ships" USPS method or other? Thanks again.. have a great day
    Hi and thanks for replying,

The CC was checked out very recently by competent installer who made back-pressure check. (we were verifying an emmisions problem then). It checked out fine as it has very few miles.

However, you are very correct about the oil feed line. I removed it already in preparation for the newer turbo which will arrive Wednesday. It was restricted badly which is probably why the old one went bad.

As per the wheel; (the one which can be removed from the shaft), it seems okay. The aluminum turbine housing it rides in also seems smooth with no digging/deflections either. But note the wheel blades have very very minor wire edge forming barely on the outer-most edges. Would photos help, or do you think a small bit of wear might be tolerable?

If photos are nessesary I can get them in a day or two.

Thanks again please let me know,
    Rick
I tore apart the hoses, drained the intercooler, and replaced water pump and thermostat. The oil in my overflow resevoir seem to have come from the small amount that bypasses my turbo. In the hose from turbo to the intercooler, saw some water which had turned yellow in the oil. Drained intercooler and no water in it, or in intake-side hoses. At the joint of the turbo/exhaust manifold, I see water bubbling out when I first start it up. The hose from turbo to resevoir is the only one on that side of engine that was scummed up with build up.. Seriously thinking of replacing turbo while I have it torn down..... What are your prices? Is water from cooling collar on turbo possibly traveling through to exhaust due to bad shaft or something? Thanks.. Block water was completely clean.. no oily residue there.. Hope to hear from you soon. What are your prices on a turbo? 1991 740 SE Turbo thanks
    Hi Tryingbe,
I've seen several of your posts about you re-building burnt turbos. Well, my Mitsu. 5003713/13C blew up awhile back. I got a replacement on the way. Only because I felt the damage to my 13C was beyond my abilities to repair. Seems the shaft has sheared in half, and I cannot balance a new one here.
If you were to replace the ruined shaft and balance out a new one. Can you tell me approximately what I would be looking at for you to re-build this old one. The damage seems to be limited to what I've described to you. Other than that, the parts are good. I would like to have a good spare around in case the one I purchased decides it doesn't like me.
    It came from a 1990 760T B230FT 2.4 Jetronic EZ116K
Thanks in advance for your help!
Hello again.. I am the one who have been posting about my 740 turbo, 1991. About my turbo..... IS IT POSSIBLE FOR MY TURBO TO PULL THE WATER OUT OF MY COOLANT RESEVOIR AND FORCE IT OUT OF THE EXHAUST? MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF WATER ARE MISSING, NOT FLOWING ONTO GROUND, OR ANYWHERE THAT I CAN SEE. NOT IN OIL/TRANNY. NOT RUNNING ROUGH ENOUGH TO BE BURNING IT ALL. HAVE SEEN SOME BUBBLE UP ON START-UP, AT THE JOINT OF THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND TURBO MOUNT PREVIOUSLY. NOW, WATER IS JUST DISSAPPEARING.. BUT THERE IS A LIGHT COATING OF OIL IN THE RESEVOIR BUT THAT IS NOT GETTING ANY WORSE AND MY OIL IS NOT DIMINISHING.... AND THE VAPOR FROM THE RESEVOIR SMELLS LIKE FUEL-RICH EXHAUST, STRANGE. THANKS FOR ANY HELP. please email at gentleman5926@yahoo.com thanks again.
    Hello Tryingbe! I search a 15G for my car. It's a 940 turbo with a B230FT.
Is this turbo watercooled? Can you pm the answer, please?
