On my build I modify the X member to clear the oil pan. Also usually need to put a divot in the oil pan to clear the left control arm. The 73,74 trans tunnels are pretty much the same as 240's so pound away.
Not sure why I thought I needed to pick this up but like a lot of us I have a disease and there seems to be no cure. Let me start by saying that this, while looks to be in good shape, is pretty rusty. So much so, it probably should have been parted out. Definitely not worth the time or effort...

1. What thickness headgasket did you use?
2. Has your bottom end been rebuilt or is it the original, untouched, 250k mile bottom end with the carbon cleaned off the pistons...

Over all I had a good weekend. Had a couple of teething issues with the car from not being able to do any testing before the weekend but nothing that kept me off the track. I just wish it could have been a little dryer. Enjoy.
