Hello Guest, welcome to the initial stages of our new platform! You can find some additional information about where we are in the process of migrating the board and setting up our new software here
Selling this bertone project car. No engine or trans, all the suspension is there. Interior is gutted and windshield/side windows removed. Has all the trim pieces, etc. necessary, with extras. Have 2 black doors WITH door panels, as well as the rest of the black interior panels. Has a nice...
Got the RPM signal working, great. Still no spark, however. 2.2 with the DIYautotune daughtercard for VR conditioning. SparkA and SparkB are the LEDs, 17 and 18. 5V pullup with 330 ohm resistor from R25 and R28. No blinky on the MS, no signal to ground the coils. Any ideas?
MSQ attached.
I have good AC voltage while cranking, 3-3.5 volts! That is right at the sensor. Same values if I pull the wires off where they go into the DB-37. But if the VR sensor is hooked up, I get nothing! MS1, V2.2, using this...
I've loved these wheels for at least 15 years, finally own a set! 18X8.5", 225/40 Continentals. Centerbore is too small, gotta have that fixed, but they're awesome! Got flat caps with the wheels, bought the hex caps myself. I think I like the hex better, what say you?
New turbo came in today. Physically seems to be very much like the old GT2871R. It is a bit heavier though. Some comparo shots:
Turbine wheel is so much bigger than the GT turbo :) This should be good, as well as the divided inlet for when I get my new manifold.
So I picked up a 531 that has been ported, etc. by Erland Cox of http://www.topplocksverkstan.se/
It's obviously been ported, had some chamber work, has 44/38 valves, and an Enem C2 cam. 37mm shim-under-bucket lifters too. On to the pics:
Intake port:
Exhaust port:
Yay, now...
Now that I've got the uber cylinder head on, I have come to the realization that this GT2871R is not going to flow enough to make the power numbers I want. So, I've tried to narrow my turbo choice down, and have come up with 3 choices.
1. Garrett GT35R, probably from atp...
So the reason for the rolling shots was my new tire purchase. Awesomeness.

Haha, Kenny's not so lonely!
Went to Capitol Raceway today, it was nice and cool out and not a lot of people when we first got there. Got the slicks on and passed tech (finally!) and then got in line.
First pass was a 11.967 @ 113.743.
Video here (funny commentary): <object width="425"...
Went to MIR today, it was nice and cold. Still didn't get to run the slicks, stupid track guys said I had to have metal valve stems for them. Anyway, ran my best on street tires, a 12.5 @ 116. Upped the boost a bit, to 26psi, but that was all I changed. Me on the left, Towery on the right...
Test fit some BBS LMs on my car today. 18X10.5" rear, 275/35 Hoosiers. 18X8" front, 245/35 Hoosiers. Seem to fit pretty well. Should make for a good autox setup if I could use them :)

Purchased the car in 2000 from my boss at the shop where I worked. At the time it was powered by a 2.2L B21(?) with forged Arias flat top pistons, custom ported cylinder head with larger valves, dual...
My M46 had been whining for a few weeks, and 3rd gear finally quit. I was on my way to work this morning on the Beltway, dropped it into 3rd overdrive (no 4th gear lockout) and floored it. Up came the boost, about 14psi, and then BLAM! and lots of crunching noises. I immediately looked in the...
Today Chris (242GTMD) and I went up to York, PA for a Dyno Day at Wagner Motorsports (http://www.wagnermotorsports.net) and met with Erick (Yorkbrick) and a couple other PA Volvo guys. Wagner Motorsports was a cool place, really nice people working there and a good set up.
Anyway, got the...
