I think wash primered ( I assume that is dipping in primer?) would solve the problem of further rust protection with paint being able to penetrate to most all areas? Even spray primering before finish coating would get into almost all areas. Sounds like the best way to go. Anyone know a place...
I see there is disagreement about sand/media blasting. Frankly, I don't see how that can successfully remove all the rust between the braces and the underside of the skin. My original question was also about dipping. Is that or chemical stripping the best method for total removal of rust...
The rust on the underside is what I'm referring to. How do you remove the rust in between the welded braces on the underside and the bottom surface of the hood skin? There's no way to get an abrasive or tool in there. Sandblasting? Acid dipping?
