I'm not sure you'd be able to have your car as low as it is in the photo if you go to 11" springs in combination with the extra height of adjustable perches. I have 9" tall rear springs and don't have much room to lower more. I wouldn't go over 10".
Totally understand the urge. Over the past handful of years, I've been tempted to ditch mine more times than I can count. I think the main thing that's convinced me to keep mine is that I'm pretty confident I'd end up wanting a similar project within 2 years after selling it. If that's not the...
Many people have run maxpeeding rods without issue (although I’ve never seen the gold ones). I have maxpeeding rods in my T5. No need for machining to run them. I didn’t trust the bolts they come with so I bought ARP bolts direct from ARP.
Really happy with them on my car, and I know of at least one other person with them on their car who is happy as well. Unless you are spending a lot more on something really nice, you can't beat them on a 240. I've had multiple bilstein and koni setups on 240s and they don't come close to the...

Thank you for the kind words!

I feel like I can’t escape BBS RC’s for some reason. I got a crazy deal on the first set of 17x8s (used to be on the Volvo, now on the BMW) and later found another deal i couldn’t pass up for the 17x9 set (now on the Volvo). I’m not in love with the...
I’m slowing catching up to the present on these videos. It’s a little crazy how long this ‘quick rebuild’ of a previously-complete swap has taken.
Really looking forward to getting this all dialed in and jumping on some other new projects after the engine.
Things are moving along nicely with building the engine harness for MaxxECU. I’m waiting on another package from ProWire because I ran out of 1/8” DR25 shrink tubing before on the last few wires in the engine bay.
In the meantime, here’s another video capping off the work to get everything...
