i appreciate it, got the injector seals already, waiting to install, and ordering intake mani gasket right now! Lots of the air hoses have been changed already by previous owner. 🙌
little update, really happy how much info came out from this thread and others, to pinpoint and deal with issues.

thats always what i think about i always hear about the b230, is it worth rebuilding a b21ft, biggest weaknesses? or limitations? or qualities, advantages? I think its convenient since it came with the car 🤣🙄
Absolutely, always have an eye out for a b230, had this in mind it would be ideal, since i could still drive while its getting worked on 👍 lh2.4

I'll be buying the parts for the rebuild here and there over time, i wonder if some parts can be added ahead of time or just get it done all at once, to not mess up the engine chemistry too much
