    Eggcrate Grill on an 86+

i was making 3d printed ones so you could still use the factory grille pins. had some issues with PLA deforming in hotter climates. might try again with ABS.

    1983 240 GLT, Crank - no start.

Sounds like a little tear in a hose between the air plate and throttle body to me. Or a vac line fell off the intake. How do the brakes feel? Booster hose?

    Weber DGV Series Carburetors

So should I install a regulator downstream of this Carter pump I’m using, or just revert to the mechanical pump?

    Weber DGV Series Carburetors

i'm currently running a 38/38 from a penta 2.5L on a b23 with a k cam. it definitely runs rich, but that's okay for my application. it's a ripper wide open, little bit of a dog at low revs. playing with ign timing helps, would rejetting help more? also, planning on some serious head decking and...

    240 Dead wipers

Are your headlights and blower motor working? If no, I’d check ign switch. Turn the key back slightly after startup and see if things come to life.

    Project Ladyride?

I definitely wasted plenty of time, but it’s finally time for a project update. I’ve been mostly dailying ladyride for the last ten years, slowly accumulating parts, other project cars, etc. lost the wife, kept the car. Life is good. The only changes made to the car in the last ten years were...

    Bench Rallycross With Me

It does have a mark for the aux sprocket. It’s a horizontal notch stamped into the rear timing cover. I usually lay a small screwdriver in the gear valley over the timing mark and lightly drag it on the timing cover til it sits in that notch.

We both have the smaller stock wheels. Stripes add like 3hp per color, so you better figure out a livery if you want to be competitive.

    Daddy, the $400 Rallycross 245

It was very fun seeing how different they felt. Both ‘83 245s. Mine: B23, k cam, carb, breakerless w/msd box, locker, no belt on PS pump, stripped interior, wrx seats, sloppy m45, billy HDs, stock cut springs, stock sways, GT braces His: B230, t cam, LH2.2, ezk, factory lsd, power steering...

    Daddy, the $400 Rallycross 245

Saturday marked the first race of the season, and the car performed very well. I pushed it very hard, and it didn’t skip a beat. Our course was very soft gravel that became deeper and deeper throughout the day. Saturday I was fastest rwd, Sunday mrak was fastest rwd after removing his front sway...

    Winter Tires for the 240

I ran some 175/70/14 cooper weather masters in previous winters, seemed to do alright. Currently using some 195/65/15 hankook ipikes. Haven’t really noticed a difference between the two. Any decent snow tire will be an incredible improvement over all seasons. Decent snows and a locker or LSD and...
