Hiya, I just replaced the alt on my neighbors 2002 V70 2.4 turbo. It was a PITA but now it's done. Problem is now it will not crank! Anybody have any idea if disconnecting the bat would cause an issue, I did reconnect it so that's not it! Thanx for any advice.

My neighbor has a '02 V70 2.4 Turbo that is making a rattling noise at idle coming from the area around the air pump, alternator or AC compressor. Sounds to me like a bearing going out. Anyone else dealt with this issue? Found a solution?
