It would be great if anyone has a hint for me before i go on a wild goose chase.
1980 Volvo 240 four door. Like the title says when I take the key out of the ignition the blower motor stays on. same with the wipers and radio. I'm getting tired of coming back to the car with a dead battery because I forgot to turn every knob and switch off before walking away.
Today I had a poke around to see if I could figure out what is the problem. With the blower switch on full if you put in the key and turn it on you can hear the fan pick up a little speed like it is not getting full battery until the key is switched on. unplugged the ignition switch from underneath and everything still has power. So those are my clues. I'm going to study the wiring diagram now.
It has been like this the whole time I've had it.
Any ideas? Thanks
