1994 945 Turbo Ultimate DD Build

I was having an issue with boost dropping off at higher RPMs and I couldn't build more then 2 psi when brake boosting the car. I swapped the 13c WGA to a Kinugawa WGA with a 1 bar spring and that fixed the issue

Now it will build as much boost as I want at a stop and the boost doesn't taper off at high RPM.

Turned the boost up to about 24 psi but I started getting spark blowout. Re-gapped the plugs from .028 to .024 and it went away.

I did a little tuning on the EZK and re-enabled EGR (all the hardware is still there so I may as well gain a little fuel economy).

The power band in this car feels like a 2 stroke when it gets on the pipe  it's ridiculous and so much fun to drive. I would like a bit more power at lower RPM but such is life with an 8v B230ft

I got a set of 46mm stainless/38mm inconel valves that another member bought during the last group buy.

2 stroke power band in a Volvo?! Sign me up! That must be so fun to drive. I just upgraded to a '24 TE250i and it feels like a carbed 2t despite being fuel injected.
Looking forward to dyno data!

Where abouts did you buy the WGA from?

A chip in my windshield finally split so I cut it out and replaced it with Fuyao aftermarket, the glass was $119. It actually looks really good optically (distortion is a common problem with aftermarket windshields).

Hi I was looking around for replacement windshield glass and found your thread.
How was your experience with these Fuyao glasses? Was it good without any distortions(when seen from the driver's seat)?
If it's possible, can you tell me where to get these?

Volvo genuines seem to be around 5x times expensive than these..

For an aftermarket glass it's not bad, no distortion in my viewing area, maybe a tiny bit of wiggle at the very bottom near the dash board. I've installed dozens of aftermarket windshields and I've rejected plenty of them, you just need to check it upon delivery.

I don't believe aftermarket glass has the same hardness as OEM, I've gotten a couple bad pits in this one already from sand or small rocks, but that could happen to OEM as well.

As much as I prefer to use OEM parts, I don't think it's worth it for a windshield that will inevitably get chipped or cracked at some point.

I got it from a local auto glass warehouse (Mygrant) that my employer has an account with. I'm not sure if they'll sell to the public, or if they do, the price will be marked up.

The used speedo I bought about a year ago failed again, so I sent the car's original speedo to my buddy @wcirco to see if he could repair it. His diagnosis was dried out capacitors and some cracked solder joints. Thankfully no caps had leaked onto the board. He re-flowed everything he could without disassembling the board and replaced all the caps. Works great now!

If memory serves me, 24 psi was where Towery bent the M rods in his B23 track car. I've got a set of those M rods.... they are hell for stout.

Your 94 bottom end is stock? What are your expectations for it at this boost level, and beyond?

Last, what is your next transmission going to be? Linuxman can tell you at what torque level the AW71 dies.
