1995 960 stalling

My friend has a 1995 960 that stalls after it warms up. Yhen it wont start again until the engine has fully cooled down. Not that it gets too hot. Just have to wait a few hour until completely cool.

Any suggestions?

960 stalling

Take a look at the coils & coil wiring. The coil wiring can become brittle from heat. Pretty cheap repair - I think it's posted here somewhere. I also had coils that decided to pack it in on my 960 - take a look at them for obvious cracking

My neighbor had this issue. We never could figure it out. It would wait to die until you were outside of town.

We found the mystery. Coolant temperature sensor was not connected. Car is running great now.
