240 Coilovers: The Kyote Way

Questions for the pro's.
Ok so my strut collar just after the threads measures 17mm. The Strut shaft measures 25mm. The camber plates that i bought from ScottyD the inner bearing (using no spacer) measures 18mm. There are 2 spacers provided however, one is too small 15mm id and one too large 19mm id.
Question: is approx 1mm too much slop one all bolted tight?

Another thing is the threads are only 24.5 mm so this leaves very little threads to tighten the strut nut down if a spacer is needed.

Alright coilovers are now finished:

For those running Kaplhenke camber plates that cut the strut tower, any tips on how much to cut off? I remember someone was saying to use the reinforcement plate as a template.

something like that, you could even rotate it about 20 degrees clockwise to have more range.

I think he is talking about the actual body of the car once you cut the template out, its multi layered sheet metal.
