240 suspension parts supplier

I recently did my suspension on my 240 with IPD sways and Bilstein HD shocks and struts to replace the stock sways and the Monroe Sensatracs that PO had installed. After an alignment, I found out that my front right strut tube is slightly bent, giving me more positive camber than I need.

Anyways, I am looking for a parts supplier that sells new strut tubes for less than what my local dealer is charging me. The dealer wants $585CAD for the non-ABS version of the strut tube!

Since I am replacing a strut tube, I thought I might as well overhaul the front suspension. Along with the one new strut tube, I am thinking of getting new upper strut mounts, ball joints, strut anchor bolts, wheel bearings, and lower A-arm poly bushings. What are the recommended places for parts besides IPD and FCP Groton? IPD and FCP doesn't list the strut tube on their site.

Thanks,

I'm going through the same process on the 245...but not the bent strut tube part.
I got all my bushes through DVS ( ashvolvo on here) and the balljoints etc as well, but if you are in North America it is bloody hard to go past FCP's prices on that sort of stuff, especially the strut tops...

I'm doing the shocks and struts on my 740 but with lowering springs. How do you like the Bilstein HD's?

Sorry to have a question instead of an answer.

for the bushings and ball joints take a look at fcpgroton.com and bmaautoparts.com i belive i bought well all the suspension bushings and balljoints with some polys from fcp for like 140 or something like that it was a while ago but i know it was alot cheaper than any were else i could find and they are good products

I quite like the Bilstein HD's. It gives a nice firm ride that doesn't rattle your bones over bumpy roads. The IPD sways with Bilstein HD's makes a good combo in a daily driver.

get coilovers
That's would be quite an expensive proposition for a daily driver and I am the type of guy who normally doesn't drive my car at the limit.

Once I figure out where I can get a new strut tube for a good price, then I will figure out where I will be ordering the rest of the bits. I'd probably go with FCP as I have bought from them before.

Are there any reputable places that would sell new front strut tubes for less than $585CAD?
