If anyone has experience with the early Automatic climate control, I am getting only max AC, and the Green book isn't helping me figure it out. From what I can tell all the sensors are working, it stopped once I changed the heater core, but I cant find anything disconnected or wrong. Not expectant, but hopeful someone can help.

The heads are known for failing. I know that's not super helpful, but it happens.

I bought one on eBay last year for cheap, and the seller threw in another one for free because apparently they don't sell.

I have 2, and Have gone through the contacts in the head. There is not much in it other than the contacts. Currently working on rebuilding the programmer

If it’s a 87 with the 740 dash I have changed several of them to manual controls. There’s a write up on here somewhere I did on them. Not to bad just need a sonar car for parts.

Unless I'm looking at the wrong thing the automatic climate control seems to have a self test and code reporting function, any luck trying that?

Were you looking at acc or ecc? Acc does not, all vacuum operated, my vacuum diaphragm in the program is bad, need to get a new unit from volvo

Ah yes ECC, excuse my incompetence I don't own a grampa series car.
At least my grampa series came with a turbo for 500 bucks, not a few thousand like some more preferred turbo vehicles, without the need to replace every bushing on the car.:tehdon:
