Does anyone have a good source for this item? mine is pretty bashed up and was glued on by the PO. I can make it work, but would be much happier with replacement.

There was zero need for an aftermarket part. You are not going to find one available.

perfect. this is what I am looking for. there have to be owners out there looking for this sort of stuff. zero need for an aftermarket part? in a sea of beat-up bricks looking for TLC and restos? I know everyone's skills, needs and even goals are different but I think that affordable replacements for wearable parts seems nearly limitless given enough time. Maybe I was missing the point. Thanks for your help guys!

The demand isn’t there and the supply of used parts floods the market

cool, mine's an 87, think they'll fit? I don't need perfection, just need them to be better than mine. I'll post a pic. I can't use the left one really, If I can get a decent pair I'll replace the right as well.
