Title says it all - doing some cleanup while I want for my new rear main seal and clutch kit to arrive. Went to put on the PS belt today and noticed my pump pulley is around 1/4"-1/2" in front of my crank pulley. '79 B21F, pump from a '93 with built in reservoir, and this kit ordered from IPD. I did notice this is no longer available and has been replaced by the STS kit which has room for adjustment to line up the pulley. I can't think of any way to dial this in - anyone got a trick up their sleeve?

There are spacers/shims that install on the crank pulley of B21/B23’s to correctly space it to line up with whatever accessory is driving it, typically the AC pulley.

I have a lot of extra shims if you need them

Oh man, yeah of course. I haven't had anything running off of that pulley for 10 years - manual rack with no AC. I think I have some stashed away, if not I'll hit you up!

Technically the shims go between the two halves of the pulley to adjust belt tension like an ACVW. They can be used behind the inner half of the pulley to correct your belt alignment issue but you may need longer bolts/studs.

I think the belt alignment problem stems from the fact that you're using parts designed for a B230 on a B21.

I used the same kit on my B23FT that was in the rally car.

I don’t recall drastically changing anything though outside of shims

This kit was actually marketed as specifically for -85 cars - B21 and B23.

Two shims did the trick. I put them before both sides of the pulley instead of in between. It might be a hair off, but it’s much better than it was before!
