I dont get the troubles about the booster.. I have a 16v brakebooster which is "smaller" thean the 8v and i can block the wheela at 100kmh really easy...
If you want to faster slower you need to push it harder
MadDog, the OP stated that a bone stock 95 would stop much faster AND with "less push harder" than the earlier cars. I'd like to have both pieces for MO' WHOA .....
My 16v is 93, my NATO is 96... There is no difference in braking... Hm.. I dont know.. Do whatever you want
My '96 940 had a squishy pedal feel with long travel. Possibly a setup issue, but I would prefer to stick with the older master cylinder combined with bigger rotors. Maybe it was the presence of an ABS system that made it worse, I dunno, but my non-ABS 740 has a much nicer pedal feel.
I think 16v slim booster is good, as well. Anyone has info on their ratio? Is it the same thing as in 24v cars? I had one from a 24v in my diesel, made a world of difference with the rest of hardware stock.
IIRC, V70R had 320mm brakes, while T-5's had these 302mm ones. Or am I wrong? WWD cars, I keep away from.
I'm waiting for someone to offer some adapters for upgrading to an easily sourced set of OE brembos, like what mopar318 offered to run ATS brembos on 240s. I wish I had more time, my dad has plenty of connections to have some adapters designed and made, but alas I have no time and will have even less in about 3 weeks.
