Changed to 302mm setup on the 850 t5, works good. Even held up at the track for 10-15 minutes. No vibrations and other issues like the old (once new) 280mm stuff had. Nice upgrade with stock parts and prices. Of course lots more possible for $$ or mad fab skills if you want.

302mm kit was created for brake fade issue, it wasn't created for stopping distance.

And I want stopping distance.

Here's another question. If the 302 kit from the p80 bolts up to the 940 as a brake upgrade, would the p80 wilwood kit fit on the 940 as well?

I already have hawk pads and ate slotted rotors. They're both good enough. I had a couple sketchy situations with people who forgot on ramps were specifically made for wot.

I'm still wondering about the OP's claims of the 95+ servo/booster. IF this later version creates more brake line pressure, then it must improve performance (for the same input pedal force). I've not tried to research this; I do know that my 92 has given me several holy sh&* moments where the emergency braking was lacking......could be explained by pads and or their temperature. I run Zimmerman ventilated rotors & the Aussie pads (PB ??, forgotten) all around now; the new 302 setup will run Akebono Euro ceramics, which have excellent reviews).

EDIT - cut & paste from the OP's first page. Note the ~25% increase in the servo (booster) ratio; this provides the increased line pressure for the SAME input force by the driver:

As part of the final update on the 940 Volvo must have decided to make the brakes feel a bit better, possibly to bring them more in line with the new 850. The servo ratio was changed from 1:4 to 1:5.2 to make the brakes lighter to use and the pedal and pedal box changed to cut down the extra travel allowed by the new servo. Along with these mods the pedal lost it's return spring and gained a new type of brake light switch.
I should be fit checking next week.....

Bit of a revival, I'm going to be doing this on my 940, do I need to go to ATE calipers for this or will my Girling ones work fine? It's a 1995 ABS model if that makes any difference.
