Would love to know whatever came of that blue on blue ‘84 760ti… That car is unicorn sedan spec, in my opinion.

I suppose I could see not charging a lot with the idea you were doing the work for your future self when you eventually bought the car.

My guess is that car has either been crushed or is currently in Europe because such a spec’d Volvo doesn’t stay off the grid in the US nowadays

This is good info. Anything regarding this unicorn as f**k drivetrain setup helps. I know the hydro clutch setup was developed and in use at this time because the manual transmission 260’s had hydro clutches, but given they stayed with cable clutch setups on B21FT cars it would make sense if they used a cable setup for the B23FT.



Roy, do you know if those ‘84 760’s you saw had original M46 hydraulic clutch setups? Or had they been converted/swapped?

I just saw your question. They were both factory built cars that came stock with the M46. Both were hydraulic clutch.

All of the USA model 1984 760 cars with B23FT & M46 that I have seen, had the hydraulic clutch.
