BNE Dyn. torque rod bushing thread #5,469

Has anyone used vibration dampening rod ends? I've only seen regular rod ends used.

I haven’t used that type, but QA1 has their Endura line which uses a nylon and Teflon race material. In my experience these are a lot quieter and last longer than Teflon lined bearings.

My concern with the rubber ones you posted is the ultimate load. The Johnny Joint style rod ends that are for suspension links are massive so the rubber won’t fail.

I'm pretty sure the ones I linked are meant for mounting things like body panels in aircraft and other stuff you don't want rattling in the cabin but mcmaster offers ones with rubber intended for suspension but in very few sizes, the QA1 ones look real nice. When I get around to messing with my suspension I think I might gives those a try to compare to stock rubber bushings. I want to keep rubber bushings in my car where possible.
