I had a very wild boost issue.. was seeing 13psi on the norm.. I was told it was the turbo control valve. I replaced with another valve. Now I don't see anything more then 2psi. Wtf is going on??

Well that did nothing. I reversed position of the two lines that did not go to the intake. And nothing has changed. Still no boost. I got take for a fool and was sold a bad part wasn't I..

Try putting the old one back in?

Its possible that the increased boost pressure you were seeing popped one of your intercooler hoses.

Instead of just floundering around, check how they should be done and do them that way.

What year 850 and which turbo model?

What was the original issue? 13psi sounds fine to me.

Yeah. It was factory stock as far as I knew. Now that I've put the old valve back in I'm seeing little to no boost just as with the other one. Do I need to reset the ecm or something?

So you physically checked that the WG is set correctly?
You've check for boost leaks? Verified that you have setup the three vacuum lines for the control valve properly?

I didn't touch the waste gate. This is the most work I've done to the car. I don't know many people around my area to learn from or to help. I've verified the placement of the vacuum lines. I didn't have any boost leaks before I had changed the tcv

Clearly you have changed something AND the WG may not be set correctly.
Lookup how to check for proper WG setting and function.

With the TCV, it's different between years. What diagram did you use to triple check that it's hooked up properly?

Have you checked for vacuum leaks since you installed the TCV?

I stand corrected. I did a lot more searching. The hose that connects to the intake plenum is ruptured. And its not a easy find. It is the hose that changes sizes pretty drastically

Thats exactly what I figured. I had the same thing pop up on our old 850 turbo. I even replaced the turbo before finding a busted hose at the top of the intercooler.
