240 Bumper trim advice

Remove the trim and inspect the points of contact where the clips meet the trim, straighten with duckbill pliers if necessary. You also have to inspect the clips. If they are too open pinch them closed a little,they also might be popping out of their plastic retainers in this case you may need new clips.It is a little tricky to install. You have to feel it click into place.
 
Do all that above...... then put some 3M weather strip stuf at strategic places....maybe four pieces...I had to build it up with a couple pieces to make it come into contact with body...the trim is hollow...added insurance against fail on road with bumps..
