Corvette wheels on 240

So I was making the swap to some salad shooter corvette wheels but I accidentally picked up a pair of corvette z51 salad shooters instead of the normal c4 wheels, the problem arises when fitting the back wheel. The z51 rear wheel is an inch wider than the normal ones and I am worried that with at 225/50/16 tire on it it will hit the fender flare. Even if it does not hit the fender flare I was planning on lowering it so there is that problem too. My question is, has anyone put the z51 wheels on a lowered 240 (IPD lowering kit) and if they haven?t any ideas on how to make them fit?
