lol this is excellentom606 is out, 4.great is in. Man its alot of fun to drive now.
the terminator is about the easiest aftermarket ecu you can get. i have a Xmax in it and i have just a normal terminator X in my gremlin. they are very very easy to deal with and very user friendly. im using drive by cable just because i like the mechanical throttle for simplicity but my box has the option of doing drive by wire. Ive always used megasquirt products befor this and i like the megasquirt alot but this is so much easier to dial in. you just have to kinda mess with the harness routing because the harnesses are not the best. connectors dont end up in the right spot all the time and the wires you would terminate inside the car ususally end up in the engine bay. Its just a matter of opening up the loom and pulling wires where you need to pull them. How easy was the terminator? Would you suggest? I have a stock, unlocked ECU and BP wiring harness. Is it DBW? If so, what DBW pedal did you use? The pedal I have is shittastic and I'd like something more stock.

I didn't like mine. Too hyped up on the internetz for what it is. OTOH, I have OM613 in my daily S320 CDI for 5-6 years now, best feeling modern diesel I ever had, plus it gave me no trouble ever. I was thinking of swapping one of those in my W116, "one of these days", as it goes...i still love my 606. however if it blows i have my cdi that im sure would be way better in this car.
My daily driving is basically between the 4.8 LS 242, 606 245 and my w211 with the on648 and the 648 feels amazing. I really really want to get a om613 for the wagon though. The 606 became infinitely better with the EDC pump and the dsl1 but I want a common rail in there fore sureI didn't like mine. Too hyped up on the internetz for what it is. Maybe it's just me, but I find Merc engines unnecessary bulky for Volvos. They fit just fine, but don't leave enough space to comfortably work around them, which is what I like about 7/9 series engine bay/tunnels anyway. Therefore, next swap for my 765 is going to be M57D25 which is sitting in the corner right now and, also, waiting for me to get to it "one of these days"...
