Dash crack repair and prevention?

Dash currently has three small cracks and is out of donor car. I’d like to try to do something to stop them from spreading further.

Do I treat it similar to other cracking items? Drill / cut a circle into the end of the crack, fill with some sort of epoxy, paint if I care to?

Are there any products to apply to it to keep it supple and prevent future new cracks?

I know Eastwood sells a kit with epoxy and colors to match the dash. I've never used it though. To protect the dash I like to use the felt covers as that removes the dash reflection in the windshield.

clean entire dash with soap and water- grease and dirt is not a friend.
cut out the parts of the crack lifting up. seal with Black RTV or 100% silicone. (those epoxy dash repair kits are just a waste of money any repair is gonna look like shit.
303 aerospace protectant or similar with high UV resistance. ( I use 303 or scotchguard on all my fabrics)
use a dashmat.
use a foil windshield sun shade religiously
