Death of RWD offset 5x108's?

I have been a major brick fan for most of my life, and within the last year or two, I have been fortunate enough to come into the ownership of a 745T, and have begun the great process of modification. So far I have freshened up most of the suspension, and have moved onto the wheel and tire side of things, and I have started to realize that all of the old wheels that I used to see and love have all but disappeared from the public market, and the 5x108 bolt pattern has quickly moved on to a more FWD heavy, high offset wheels that give no option of a nice lip for a RWD set up such as the 745. Are there any companies that are still producing any form of RWD focused 5x108 wheels, or am I forever banished to Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and second hand luck at scrapyards?

It is much easier on the mind and the wallet to purchase a new wheel versus trying to deal with second hand set ups that you have no idea what the life has been on them, nor do you know if they are truly what is stated or just a rebrand of a trash wheel. I have seen too many cases of fake BBS stickers and fake Rays, so I would rather be safer than sorry if at all possible.

I don’t see this as a problem.

You could try the wheels like Team Dynamics, Compomotive, and there is a Maxilite wheel out there which looks like the old Minilites. If you really want to spend money call HRE. They made wheels for one of the old cars on the front page of turbobricks. A black 262 as I recall. I bought Team Dynamics wheels in the past and they were very light for the money.

Main issue with adapters and spacers is that they reduce the amount of lip you can achieve. I am already running a set of 5x4.5 adapters with a set of old jeep wheels, but I want to keep these for a set of beater bomb wheels, and then have something flashy for date nights. I do think I am leaning towards a set of the Ocean Super DTM's, but being on the west coast, I can't imagine that there isn't somebody out here sitting on a new set, or at the very least a lightly used set.

wheels for date nights, lips, bomb wheels
Bro how much bro do you bro
You’re making me hard
If we're lucky he has a tribal barbed wire dolphin tat circling his 18" (circ.) bicep. BRO.

OP: do you have a chain steering wheel? RBS is going to ask when you call about those OOOceans. /maryland accent

Also: I don't like adapters either, but those camaro 17x9s on GM adapters (thicker on rear axle) do look tasty on a 245. I avert my gaze and pour some out for the 7/9s I crushed when one rolls by. *tear

if you want good wheels your best bet is to either get your hubs and rear axle drilled for 5x114.3 or find a small bore three piece 5x114.3 wheel and redrill and open up the center bore. I've run some pretty wide wheels with lip and without lip.

5x108heavyweight on instagram does nice redrilled wheels, but they're not cheap.
You may as well have a new set made by Image, Augument, or Heritage for that kind of money.

BRAID would also be an option, but IIRC anything they make costs around the same as HRE.

Revolution wheels in the UK will do custom drilled, as will most companies.
But ya gotta be willing to spend $250+/wheel or more.

Have you personally tried Image wheels? I was sort of casually flirting with their F40s in 16x8 - I don't pay much attention to aftermarket wheels because normally it's not in my budget, but I am curious myself.
