Does anyone have a better wiring diagram than this?

Cool, looks like all the hot wires are the same colors that I see. Some of the sensor grounds on the 88 are Brown/black stripe, but it seems at first glance that only the grounds are slightly different.

Looked to me like its all there. Things are grouped by function not location or wire routing. Drawings of the harnesses and locations in the car body are in the parts manual. These however don't show connections or wire colors like a schematic.

I mean, yeah, but I kinda need those connector pinouts and stuff. The one I posted is too simple. The greenbook diagrams are much better.

The main difference in a US model from 87 to 88 is that the wiring doesn't rot as fast in the 88. So if you can find the 87 printed green manual on ebay or at a bookseller. That's your best option. The other option is an old Mitchell manual. They were printed schematics for the automotive trade and you can buy an old copy on ebay that covers your year Volvo.
