I highly recomend this if you have one of the DSM BOVs.
First thing if you are going to do this Do not use the 6mm tap like he says use a 5mm tap and drill a smaller (9/64?) piolet hole. the 3/16 brake line i used would actually slip through the piolet hole even before i cut the threads. So use a smaller hole and everything will be all good.
I also taped my pressure signal on the BOV flange so that was a short run of vac line.
Result: No more backlash! the valve open clean and fast every time. and it holds around 15# of boost (all ive tried so far)... although the car now idles at 1.5kRPM
vac leak maybe... I am not sure yet.
If you have a DSM BOV that isnt working as good as you would like... Do this and see how much better it can be.
