Would it work to spot-weld the rear bars together?
Anyone ever try these universal swaybar poly bushings?

All sorts of sizes:

Don't. The swaybar hit the a/c line and inner fender on mine because I tried to cheap out and use those.
Has anyone tried this on a 7/9XX? Front or rear?
edit: never mind went back one page and seen that it has been done. On those who did it with a wagon tell me what you think about it please.
my old red 740 wagon has it, Mick installed them when he got the car. it's great, really tight, much better than stock.
I think it's awesome. I need to get another turbo rear bar, as I goofed an installed one turbo and one NA bar. Two turbo bars in the front. Handles well. Just don't drop the swaybar on your face like I did when you are installing them and you'll be a-ok.
Do you have them in the front, rear, or both?
Someone advise against sways on the rear. You experience any problems with it being too stiff?
I'm doing the front now, is there anybody who upgraded from regular rubber bushings to PU bushings? Noticed any difference?
