I think my 1993 240 has a failing heater valve. Should I replace it with an aftermarket stock replacement(can't find an OEM one) or should I go with the wagonmeister kit? Any feedback on that? I read lots of reviews on aftermarket ones being terrible or failing.

I got with DavidSamuels and bought the Wagonmeister kit and have not looked back since. Make sure to get the extra hose do-hickey for the later 240. Order it today!!

Yeah my AC does the opposite of what its supposed to do. The faster I go the less cool it gets and the compressor keeps going so that makes me think the extra pressure/flow through the heater core is causing the issue.

Wagonmeister kit all the way. Don't waste your time with the ProParts Sweden one...they will fail, I've seen a few blow out causing a very fast evacuation of the cooling system in to your passenger compartment.
