Been all up in PA and now in VA about 80 miles from from Duram NC at a loves truck stop. Filled up with gas the leaving 93 244 died. Check the fuel pump relay and it’s working. Any check or help welcomed. Running low ke a champ before this.

Do you get a tach signal?

If no tach signal, crank sensor, ignition amplifier or radio suppression relay.

Last time the amplifier went out was on the 744 I bought from you a few years back... I always carry a spare on LH cars since then.

Carefully wiggle crank sensor wire and see.
Have a strong feeling that it's rotten.

Try to jump the RSR, as well. Black relay, left side of the engine bay. The two larger wires are the ones to jump.

There is no RSR on any NA Volvo. That is there to drive the injectors on a Turbo car. The OP will find that type of relay on his 1993, however, it is for the AC fan.

OP, try disconnecting the crank sensor and the ignition amplifier/power stage and connect them again. Do that 2-3 times to get the connector pins to self clean. That may be all it is. It wouldn't be the first time that fixed a no run issue on a Volvo I have owned. Also, pull the coil wire out of the coil and re-install it. I've had 2-3 240s suddenly not run because of a problem with the coil lead.

Speaking from experience, there is a radio suppression relay on NA cars. I've had both NA and turbo LH 2.4 cars, and they had a RSR..

Edit... Was thinking of my N/A 740s and 940s... The 240s only got the cooling fan relay. My mistake.

No, they don't. I work on these cars on a daily basis, for a living. Pull the RSR out and see what happens. It is merely for the auxiliary fan. The 93 245 had one of those relays. It drives the fan.

Here are the PDFs of the 1993 240 wiring schematics. See if you can find an RSR in the fuel injection/ignition system diagram. Knock yourself out.

See the edit I made before you posted. I caught my mistake after reading the greenbooks.

I was thinking of my 7s and 9s.

We are thinking the same, but i think it's a wire rather than connector.
I've seen few rotten, especially if it was never replaced all original.
