How do I put this trim back on

C pillar window chrome was off when I got the car
How the hell do I put it on ?

If I remember correctly, the window needs to be popped out, then you can work the trim back into place. 1967-80 cars use a seal for the glass instead of the urethane tape of the 1981-93 cars to hold it onto the body.
 
First, find out who has a spare for sale. Then, good luck removing the old one. Sorry, no help.
 
If it's a rubber seal you flip it back and push it out from the inside.

Looks dented anyway.

Best way is to rope in another undisturbed assembly in any case.
 
I'd pop it all the way off and then straighten and fix the dents and then it should pop back on and stay correctly. Looks bent out, you gotta take it off to fix that.
 
I’m not any help for these but you could probably get some of the black polyurethane hoop to hold it in place until you get your replacement stuff in; I used it for some broken windshield trim on my 960 and it works great.
 
Ahhh light green, I’m in love!

I have to put the rain gutter trim back on my wagon, is this trim installed in a similar fashion.
