HP estimate of my setup

Hi guys:

I don't have easy access to a dynamometer to measure the rwhp of my 744T, so please give me your estimates about the crank HP of my setup. The car is an '87 744 Turbo but now has a nice squirter block and other goodies thanks to the TB member 745T+. So the specs are:

-Full stage 0.
-'93 N/A squirter block
-Stock Garrett T3 turbo
-90+ exhaust manifold
-Turbo ignition and fuel system (LH 2.2)
-V camshaft
-Modded airbox
-Full 2.5" cat-back, no silencer.
-11 psi boost
-Compression numbers are 155 psi in all cylinders.
-Running 97 RON fuel (should be equivalent to maybe 94 in the US)

Out of topic but worth mentioning:
-IPD swaybars
-745T+ strut tower brace
-lower brace
-Jumbo brakes

I think this setup is around 200-210 cranck HP, but I want to see your opinions.
This car is a nice daily driver and is fast enough for me. Don't want to break the M46 yet so my first goal is to add a 5th injector (already in the manifold, just waiting to find a pressure switch to activate it) and up the boost to 12-13 psi.
My second goal is to be a bit faster in the 1/4 mile than my brother in law's '97 850 T5 (totally stock, 100K miles) with this setup. Do you think is possible?

170-175whp. You don't need to add a stinkin' 5th injector, just put some bigger injectors in place of the stock ones. My car runs fine with 36lb injectors, it just idles very rich on a cold start.

You are probably there. Stock 850T is only putting 180 or so to the wheels (if it truly is in perfect stage 0 order), and the FWD and open differential is a serious time-robber on the drag strip. Run him on a close to empty tank and as much weight as you can get rid of and see what happens.

My problem with bigger injectors is that here we have very tough smog tests in Santiago.
Max CO is 0.5%
Max HC ppm is 100 at
Also Nox is measured under load.

Good to know that. Thanks.

Too much work to deal with adjusting the AMM to get the browntops working fine....and then back to greentops......

Simple solution: Keep another AMM that is set for use with the greentops. Swapping the AMM and injectors out shouldn't take you more than 15 minutes. Getting a 5th injector wired up and working properly will be a lot more work than swapping AMMs and injectors a couple of times per year.

Good point....thanks, I'll source another AMM
