It really wants to run

After sorting out various problems, finally cranked the new motor over today for the first times trying to get it started. Messed with cranking pulse until it would start to run, and then itd rev to about 2000 and then die. so, I start screwing with afterstart enrichment, but it seems like it has no effect at all on keeping it running. try to give it a little gas right when it kicks, and it has no effect either. it dies just the same. finally start entering ridiculous values like 110 and then 10 into the VE table around idle, neither of which really changes anything noticeably. I'd post my msq but i don't have anywhere to host it. but looking at my datalogs, cranking pulse is about 13ms and then as soon as it gets over 300 RPM, it immediately goes to about 2.5ms with no taper. Is it just me or is something there pretty wrong? I'm running 32 lb/hr injectors for the time being. FWIW, i had to turn cranking pulse way up from the default in order to get it to offer. ive got a LC-1 hooked up but i dont think its staying running long enough to get an accurate reading, it goes from about 7.4 to 8 when it offers. any ideas?

I actually just got it to start running, with some problems though. i was playin with req_fuel trying to get some sort of response, so i turn it up from the calculated 11.6 to like 38. cranks for like 4 seconds and starts right up. turn it up a little more, it runs a little better. go figure, my VE tables are reasonable (40% or so around idle) and all the warmup, ASE, and cranking values are pretty close to default. no idea, could the code be wrong. i was getting some error codes when flashing the code (ms2-extra, latest release) to the board until like the third time it went through.
 
oh, just noticed you are running ms2. So really you wont' be able to use much of my msq, hopefully the settings will give you some ideas though.
