While I wait for the economy to come back and my mother-in-law to win the lottery and my government bailout check, and since my whole goal in life is to build the 1800 that Volvo couldn't/wouldn't, what would it take to build a B304 Redblock?
Thanks to John V and Fidel, the dilema of getting cams seems to no longer be an issue.
Next problem is how to cut two B204 heads into 2/3's and reattach them like Larry's Power did for a 292 Chevy six cylinder using two Chevy V8 heads.

Where would you cut the heads apart, through the head bolt holes? How about the cam bracket/holder? How could you reweld the heads together and not have the cooling passages leak? Just use JB Weld?
How about attaching a cam drive onto the front of the B30 block?
I know this is stupid and a white block or Supra motor would be the way to go, but I would want this to be era specific.
So, doing something like this;
and winding up with something like this;
using this stuff;
Just a thought
