K-jet AFR's

I have a wide band on my 82 240 with k-jet, it is a B21F9 (mpg). During acceleration I can't get enrichment until about 5000 rpm's. At lower rpm's and WOT it never drops below 14.0. I pulled the L cam and installed an IPD today hopping it would help, it did not. How do I get more fuel during acceleration?

I have 70 psi line pressure and 50 psi control warm. Ignition timing at 12* BTDC.

Edit: If my injectors where clogged I would not get enrichment at 5000 rpm's would I?

That's the way it was made. Your only option is to replace the WUR with one from a B21F and swap the Lambda unit, as that is going to govern what the frequency valve does, which trims the AFR's. I'm not sure but the B21MPG engine uses a smaller air flow plate, too.

IIRC the control pressure should be around 80 psi on your car, 50 psi sounds a very low, which would make it run richer, not leaner. Also the line pressure is low. What kind of mpg are you getting? Where did you measure the pressures?

I think I have a lambada ecu from a non mpg car, I will try that, or I will check AFR's with the frequency valve disconnected. I may have a larger air flow unit I could try also.

The line and control pressures are within spec for a N/A engine, turbo's run higher line pressures.

My other options are LH 2.2 (which I am looking at) or MS.

I am thinking (hoping) the lambada unit is the problem at this point, and that will be easy to check, but I had not considered it.

Thanks.
