KwikBrik245's Twin Turbo LS1 '88 744 REbuild: Damaged Goods

I ordered some stainless bungs from RaceTronix which should be here today. Do you know off hand what material the pipe is? I may have to braze if they are dissimilar metals, no?

Sorry, missed this. The pipes are steel. I bought steel bungs.

And I hear ya, the more yo do, the more you realize you have more to do haha.

Last night I mounted my FPR permanently as well as started mocking up the cooling system. I also measured how much massaging I will need to get the hood closing once again.
Aside from shaping the top of alternator, removing some hood blanket, and slightly elongating the Alt bracket holes... It won't be too bad.

A little trimming of the upper rad support and I can mount the radiator at 90*.

Today I put some more fuel and oil lines together and finished up my temporary plug wire bulkhead grommet. The factory heater core opening seemed like the obvious route for the wires. I really need to get on gauge and fuel pump wiring sooner than later as I have been putting it off. The Innovate solenoid boost controller and it's peripherals need to find a home as well.

Crossed a few more things off of my list this past week. Fuel system and sending unit are finished. Gauges are finished with the exception of my fuel pressure gauge (on order). Spark plug wires are finished. I am pleased with how my temporary plug wire bulkhead turned out. Oh and for those who missed this month's virtual meet... My hood closes now haha.
I am nearing completion, and putting a few hundred miles on her before the roads get salted I looking very likely.

Yesterday I finished putting everything back together. Everything went well. A little too well.
After having no hiccups during the final assembly, I was ready to fire her up.
I have good oil pressure, good fuel pressure, all ignition is connected, etc. However I have no Spark or Injector pulse. HP Tuner shows all my sensors reporting in, and I have no codes. Crank position sensor sees RPM when cranking.
Could my tune have erased itself in the year of low-none in terms of battery power?

**** I hope not

Look pretty sweet!

Thanks. I still have some vacuum lines to hook up, as well as clean up some oil and coolant lines. I will be welding the wideband bung once I can get it to my shop. I am really hoping to get it to the track even for one run before the track closes for the year. :)

She lives!

Today I fired her up for the first time in awhile. After a bit of searching, I found a pin on the ECU connector that wasn't fully seated as well as 2 pinched wires. I am responsible for the pinching. I failed to make sure that all the wires were clear before I ran the ecu connector bolt down. Anyways, here are a couple photos and videos.

how much boost? the twin 61's on the mustang in the shop are absolutely face-melting(at least thru a glide and on the rollers, it would be sketch AF on the street)

I'm on 8psi springs. Don't see much reason to turn it up at all at this point hahaha.
225/50/16s 200 treadwear tires spun by a Dana 30. It sure is fun though.

lol. so the mustang is running twin 61's (not sure what hot side, they're not yuge tho), it's incredible though from a power perspective.
