LH 2.4 swap idle issue

AFAIK the 2 tabs on the back of the LH2.0,2.1,2.2 speedos are the VSS signal for cruise control, which is the same VSS signal used for LH2.4 ECUs. Do you have a reference showing the "Shift Indicator Control Unit"? Maybe that unit uses the VSS and RPM signals.

Here it is from the 1987 greenbook. It uses both VSS and TACH signals.
